Location
The course will be held at the Sir Paul Reeves building (WG building), Auckland University of Technology city campus, just off Queen Street in the Auckland CBD. Workshop registration will be on Level 4 of the WG building, the main room for the workshops WG403 Lecture Theatre. If you arrive at AUT and ask for directions from the information desk in the foyer of the main Sir Paul Reeves building (WG building) they will also be able to help you.

THE SCHOOL OF: ENGINEERING, COMPUTER & MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES
TE KURA MĀTAI PŪHANGA, ROROHIKO, PĀNGARAU
AUT’s School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences is the largest school of its kind in New Zealand, and is one of the fastest growing schools in the university.
Its Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences is ranked in the top 250 programmes in the world, according to QS rankings.
It’s home to some of AUT’s internationally recognised researchers and research centres including Kode Biotech and NZ 2015 Supreme Innovator of the year, Professor
Stephen Henry and Professor Nikola Kasabov’s KEDRI lab. The school also works closely on industry projects in New Zealand and abroad, including being the New Zealand lead on the Square Kilometre Array project.
The school hosts 14 internationally recognised research centres that span everything from robotics to astronomy.
The school comprises six departments: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Built Environment, Computer Science, Information Technology & Software Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences. The school has strong industry and international connections, and works with the latest technology including high-precision rapid prototyping and New Zealand’s most powerful Scanning Electron Microscope.
The school will move into a new purpose designed precinct (home), which is currently under construction, in 2018. Featuring flexible lab spaces, showroom space, research facilities and fabrication workshops, the precinct will lead the way for greater collaboration and faster adoption of new technologies.

AUT's City Campus is surrounded by bus stops and is close to motorway entry/exit. You can easily commute to AUT through Auckland Public Transportation.
